Zeynep Kepekli is a London based lighting designer who presents work globally across Dance, Theatre, Opera, Ballet as well as site specific projects and installations.

Studied art and design, her work is influenced by nature, architecture and bodies in spaces. She continuously questions geography and belonging in her work. She is particularly interested in natural light and its relationship with the landscape.

Some of her recent credits include Festival of New Choreograph (The Royal Ballet - Royal Opera House), California Connections (Yorke Dance Project, Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House), How Did We Get Here (Julie Cunningham Co + Mel C - Sadler’s Wells Theatre), The Meaning of Zong (Tom Morris/Giles Terera – Bristol Old Vic), Common Grounds (Pina Bausch Foundation/Ecoles des Sables/Sadler’s Wells), Within Without (Limbic Cinema - SIRF 2023)
